best team in the country. only question now is whether they'll beat Duke in the semis or championship game.

UCONN beat a UMASS team by 12. That same UMASS team lost to Davidson who Duke beat the living crap out of. I don't think they are as great as people say. Rudy Gay is flashy so he gets a lot of press but he might be one of the most inconsistent players in the country. Last year's UCONN team was just as good or better than this one. They had their PG and Villanueva and still lost to the Wolfpack.

UCONN also played that game without Marcus Williams. Didn't exactly mention that did ya?

Hey, no one is giving Duke credit for missing Nelson. Why should we cut anyone else any slack?

Um Nelson played during the Davidson game. That IS the game in question isn't it?

Yukon is making a habit of beating Dook in the NCAAs. Don't see how that'll be any different this year. Not that it really matters, but they beat Umass by 18, not 12.

at any rate, Yukon should be ranked higher than Dook. They're a better team and sly knows it.

No, the season is the question and how teams are affected by hurt/suspended players. Every team has injuries/suspensions, some beat ranked teams like Memphis and Indiana with their injuries. Others struggle against UMASS.

No there was a comparison made between two teams that played a third team as a common denominator. It was proposed that one team was better because they beat the third team by more points than the second team was able to score in their win. Yet he didn't take in to account that during that game, all be it a win, that the second team was without a starter. Which would have made making such a comparison impossible. The fact that the first team has now recently lost a starter is irrelevant due to the fact that that player was injured after the meeting between the team that was considered the common denominator, and here I thought Duke was a good school.
