Completing just five of 18 passes for 46 yards with three interceptions, Fasani compiled a quarterback rating of 0.0. The good news is that there was another ex-Stanford quarterback who put up the same rating in his first-ever start. That guy's name was John Elway.

Jim Rome has nothing to do with this game. Jesus Christ - zero. Null. Effectively denied any sort of positive statistic. Jim Rome can't make that worse than it is. Bill Rosinski couldn't make that better than it is. Eugene Robinson couldn't handle his own business if he had to come up with positives about a 0.0 passer rating, other than to maybe remark that "well at least it's over."

Which seems to be the theme of the offense anyway.

 

Zero is funny as hell. I hope someone else makes fun of it.

It was the worst performance by a Panthers QB I've ever seen, only outdone by Jeff Lewis.

But if Lewis had more time in that preseason game, I don't think he'd be ZERO.
