Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Tour. When he Really could rock the house.

I was 13. My brother had mono and couldn't go.

Tickets were $7. Greensboro had festival seating then which meant first come first served. Top level was blocked off from floor level. People used to hook belts together and climb and/or fall and/or jump to get down to the floor.

The whole placed reeked of reefer.

The good old days of the classic rock and roll concert.

Damn a head rush of memories!

2 Skinnee J's at Ziggy's. That was before I saw the light and now stick for the most part to just rock n' roll and country. But it was loud, so it was a good experience for my first show.
