Your 2018 Hornets

Entertaining first game. Same results as previous years. Fall way behind early(in this game, 20 points) and then battle back for a lead.
Only to crush the hearts of the home crowd by choking at the charity stripe and the ball rolling off the rim in a go ahead layup attempt in the last few seconds.
What was the cherry on top was that Nick the Choker Batum airballed a relatively short jumper(by NBA standards) for the last thrust of the rusty dagger into the home folks.

The answer is the same for all 3.
Its pointless. It probably had a starting point. A place where local folks that maybe/maybe not knew each other could communicate.
Its certainly past its end point and should have disappeared a few years ago.
The Hornets being local were a talking point. Is my post saying anything new or earth shattering? No, I just felt like expressing some thoughts on the first game of the season.
In fact fact every post on this site is pointless.
Whats your point? No one cares about the Hornets here? I do. I`m not fanatical, but I do enjoy the entertainment factor of the team.
Why would someone, that probably has a 90k posts under different names here, question a poster that has as few as I do a chance to express my thoughts on the first Hornets game of the season?
Like I`ve said before, if you`re not interested in the topic then move on.

 

Ok, I have to be honest, the old logo and pinstripes are tugging on my heartstrings a bit.

 

Nice win against the Heat needed to break the losing streak. Does this board have game threads for hornets?

Its pretty much a free for all here. You can usually start anything, but sometimes thread starters are left hanging with no replies.
Don`t let that discourage you from posting. Express yourself and see what happens.
If someone starts a Hornets topic I know I will try to join in if I can.
I joined last nights game at halftime and they were up by 20. The Heat must have gotten their asses chewed out at the break and came out like their hair was on fire. Of course Charlotte couldn`t hit water from the boat.

 

So is Monk turning into something useful?

 

He is not a detriment so far this year.
You could have built a house in Meyers Park with the bricks he made last year.
He has made some of the better assists I have seen.
It seems the Spaniard and he are in the same zone.

 

MKG is such a waste of space.
