there is hope yet for this year and it is spelled - foster. he (and Moose) could have been just enough for us to have won these last 2 games. being able to make FG's will also help win a couple. a little good luck would help too.

    QB situation is very worrisome.

Add the explosive WR in the next draft, a vet CB in FA and at worst we have a very good team here next year, especially with Foster and Moose back and a more seasoned and experienced defense. This teams future suddenly looks fairly "bright".
    Certainly no pun intended.

I dunno about the CB, at least in the draft early. Fair will be better, Wesley MIGHT develop, Howard and Cousins seem strong.

WR is glaring. O-line might be an issue. We haven't played a punishing D-line yet, but we face TB twice a year.

I'd say WR and QB are the biggest needs. I wonder how Fasani is developing.

EXCELLENT question. I wonder that myself. I never did get my hopes up on him. Fasani had one good preseason game, and that was against the scrubs. I think an even bigger question is has Weinke learned anything since his time on the pine. I got a feeling we'll see him again soon, the way Peete is playing.
