Is the fact we'll now have to listen to the naysayers all over the country saying, "I told you so." And you know what? They'll be right. If we were good, we would have won this game.

thats why i've never geen an ass's hair about respect or national recognition. we were 1-15 last year for a reason, and us being 3-0 didnt warrant us getting the attention that many people sought after. what we have here is an average team- a very good defense, and an anemic offense.

Look at what was at stake in this game. The winner walks away with sole posession of 1st place in their division. Neither the Panther nor Cards are supposed to be in a position to say that at this point in the season.

anemic is a little harsh- how bout inconsistent and indecisive.

just needs a bit of a youth infusion. the defense got its last year, the o is next. i'd rather the defense be a year or two ahead anyway. it lays down a solid foundation of hard work and toughness for the franchise.

Peete finished 20-of-34 for 196 yards a TD and two interceptions, Lamar Smith ran for just 49 yards on 18 carries and had two fumbles, and the Panthers gained just 244 yards.

    Points off turn-overs. That's what hurts, that's why we're 3-2.

You take the points off the board earned off turn-overs, we lose the first 3 games and win the last 2.

These kind of numbers worry me. I don't think anyone will confuse the Cards with the 85 Bears.
