Peaceful Dragon man. I took Yoga (among other things) there for about 3 months and it kicked my ass. Any stress during the day was gone by 9:30 at night. Unreal. Don't go for that health club shit, Peaceful Dragon. Trust me on that.

I'd probably go back if I lived closer to it

there are a lot of differnt kinds of yoga. reminds me of jackass where he went to class and kept farting.

it is becoming popular with NFL players because it increases flexability....which prevenets injury.

I've done yoga & it's awesome. There are lots of excellent resources out there that don't require you to take a class. Classes are great if you really want them, but there are DVDs/videos that teach you all you need to know for a BASIC yoga practice. The ones put out by Living Arts, with Patricia Walden or Rodney Yee instructing, are the best IMO.

You can focus on a particular goal--energy, strength, flexibility, relaxation--or go for more general benefits. Once you learn the poses, you can do a few minutes when you get up & just before bed & reap great benefits.

Yoga is great. My wife has some tapes with this guy who looks like Kenny G leading a class, and it kicks my ass. I've just started doing it more, since they incorporate some Yoga moves into our stretching and most Jiu Jitsu (and Ultimate Fighting) people do a lot of yoga. Flexibility, breathing (learning to breathe during strenuous activity is crucial for reducing fatigue), and energy flow, baby!

I like yoga too, but then again I'm better at it than most people. I win almost every time, or at least come in second.

I went to that site wanting to do yoga but there aint squat about cost. I don't want to go there and get told it's like 100.00 a month. How much is it?
