I'm down 10 pounds, but weekends are keeping me from losing more. It's not that eat more, but the quality drops.

like bootay said, cutting carbs out of your diet is not healthy. high protein is great if you work-out and still get some carbs, but high-protein alone is a risky situation.

it's going ok so far. the caffeine withdrawal is causing me to have a bad headache, but other than that. Was never a big fan of potatoes, but what i'm gonna miss most is the ice cream and tortilla chips.

got it. i did purchase some diet sprite, but noticed it contained aspartame (atkins promotes splenda). i quickly put it in the storage closet. out of site. out of mind.

off the subject a bit. but your ice cream reminds me of something i'd like to pass along to everyone. for those of you that work out, a small bowl of ice cream right after a workout and before the protein shake will do wonders for getting that protein where it needs to be. good reason to keep ice cream around.

I think I will be fine without the caffeine, since I drink water most of the day. I can probably survive without the potatoes; however, going out to eat and passing up the rolls will be VERY tough. I'm going to give it a shot starting next week, since I know that I will be photographed WAY too many times at my wedding.
