    Ballpark right downtown on the river. :xyzthumbs


    Yesterday afternoon the debate over whether to build a new ballpark for the Nashville Sounds on the former Thermal site came full circle.
    A Metro task force voted overwhelmingly to recommend a minor league ballpark and adjacent residential and retail developments as the best use for the 11.5-acre riverfront site.

    After considering four other ideas over two months, a 19-member special task force appointed by the Metro Council determined that the Sounds proposal was the best of the proposals up for review.

    Charlotte couldn't do it. They would rather have the NBA ugh. And I was talking about the city officials getting something right. :xyzthumbs
