No other reports as to why he got sick, other than a guy who has a motive to speak that way.

Laettner is averaging 12.8 points per game, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists over the past 13 years and those numbers have gone down over the past 3 years because he's now over the hill being 35. He scored in double figures his first 6 or 7 years in the league back in the 90's

Laettner has been very solid as a pro. He hasn't lived up to the hype that surrounded him entering the league, but relatively few players do.

cocaine is a hell of a drug!

btw, none of the aforementioned duke players are worth half the shit on the TP that i just wiped my ass with. you idiots are completely delusional if you think even remotely otherwise, and i'd guess that you are just unable to handle this simple fact due to your duke bias.

when g hill gets out of the first round...

    come talk to me.

when e brand/c maggette gets in the playoffs...

    come talk to me.

when shane battier puts up 20 and 10...

    come talk to me.

    when j williams can walk.

    come fucking talk to me.

until then, dont even fucking bother.

that's just fucking stoopid. I guess since LeBron James hasn't made the playoffs yet he's a marginal player. Kobe Bryant's Lakers flubbed miserably the year after Shaq left. Maybe that shows that Kobe sucks ass as a pro. Vince Carter's teams haven't done much of anything. Perhaps he sucks too.

He was one of the best college players ever. Sometimes that does not translate well into the pros. I would just as soon have had him at Duke as anyone that was in college during those years, including Shaq.

Laettner dominated Shaq in their one matchup in college

He was a great college player, which brought up the expectations of his pro career to a level that nobody could have possibly lived up to. If we were talking about anyone else, a 13 year career with his kind of numbers would be considered successful. Instead, we're arguing about whether or not he's a failure in the league. Sometimes what you do in college does nothing but hurt your pro career.
