I'm getting sick of all the overexageration of crap.

On the other hand, I thought it was funny as shit that when Sheffield went at that guy last night that the fan didn't back down one inch.

watched the game on YES. Judging by Kay's, Murcer's and Kaat's reaction, the fan should be doing 20 years hard time. It was obvious to them he was trying to punch Sheffield. Sure looked to me like he was trying to distraft Sheffield and didn't actually hit him.

I reckon Nixon and Payton will be dodging batteries next time they play in the Stadium.

I actually figured he was hitting the wall (like everyone else does) and watching the ball. When he got sight of Sheffield he pulled his arm back real fast which is when he hit him.

I heard on the radio that another guy threw beer on Sheff - which while obviously warranted because he is a roided up piece of Yankee shit - still is pretty low class.

The guy did hit Sheffield in the face, there's no question about that after seeing the replay. But it wasn't a punch, just a swipe. Still, I imagine if any of us got swiped in the face we'd be pissed too. And the Boston fan did back away from Sheff.
