yeah the twins fucked themselves. Used their closer way to long and during the heart of the yank's lineup too.

Like the Yankees didn't use Riveria too soon and give up the lead? Middle relief killed the Twins this night. That and top to bottom the Yanks have a better lineup

what game were you 2 watching? i agree with gardenhire's decision, he went for the jugular and left nathan in the game. it didn't work out, but i agree with the decision. he had already used rincon, the other great arm in the pen in the 8th and 9th.

before the 1st walk in the 12th, the bullpen had pitched like 5 innings or something of no-hit ball. that is not "killing" yourself.

The Yankees gift wrapped it for the Twins 1st.Strike three passed ball set the Twins rally up.Then back to back walks by Nathan turned around the game in the Yankees favor.

The Twins have announced that Santana will start game 4.I'm not sure that I would pitch him on 3 days rest, especially if the Twins win game 3.If they lose game 3 then I understand giving Santana the ball in game 4.

The Yankees have that awesome ability to psychically make the opposing manager leave a dead arm on the mound.:xyzthumbs

Even if you arn't a Twins fan isn't it more fun to pull for the small market team that doesn't buy talent instead of develop it
