Really odd how we're mysteriously playing better team defense without him. That may or may not continue, but I do think cornerbacks are pretty overvalued.

 

Norman really has played well for a rookie, and Munnerlyn was responding to playing in the slot. We're a better team with a healthy Gamble/Beason than without, but that's not really how it works sometimes.

 

The improvement without Gamble is probably smoke and mirrors, but I'm pretty convinced that we're a better defense because Beason is out. He played shittely and Kuechly wasn't doing much better at Will.

 

We are better without an injured Beason for sure. Healthy Beason is a great MLB. Problem is Keuchly plays the same position and both are lesser players on the outside.
