He seems to give up a disproportionate number of them on third downs. Plus, I think the other corners being so awful helps his numbers look better. No one who watches the games thinks of Gamble as being an elite or even a great corner, and I doubt that the majority would even describe him as "very good." It's not an important distinction since is the team's best corner, but I can understand why people get frustrated with him.

Not the biggest fan of "feels like" or "seems like" in response to statistics. His QB rating over 2010, 2011 was right around 45, 50. Both years he was within the top ten of all corners for QBR. You have to make a long list of problems before you get to Chris Gamble not playing bump and run, including the people who actually determine coverages and techniques.

Fair enough, but find me one single Panthers fan who thinks your statistics are at all representative of reality. As usual lately, you seem to be on an island in your own little world, leaving the rest of us scratching our heads.

yeah not buying the stat stuff on Gamble... I've seen him play and he sucks. When he does make a play, he looks just as surprised as I do.

Gamble could make the line up in a nickel or dime package, but he shouldn't be starting at CB on any team

it wouldn't be so bad if could tackle because he has speed... but his instincts are just so fucking bad, sometimes I wonder if he even understands the playbook

He'd make a decent 4th CB on an arena league team. Nothing more than that. Personally, I don't know how he can even live with himself.
