Anyone want to buy my Xterra? It is a 2001 with 78k miles. It is a 4wd SE and has pretty much everything on it. I need about $15k for it. I know that will be hard but if anyone wants to give me some charity let me know and I will post some pics.

That is less than I owe on it. How many miles on your Expedition? I need something bigger.

    What's a Xterra?

[Sounds high 'cause I just got a very clean '01 Taurus wagon w/82k for $7200 (which I thought was a little high).]

I was looking to trade the cougar for an suv and I found a couple xterras at carmax:

    2000 with 75k for 9,995
    2001 with 45k for 12,995

Take yours to be appraised for free. They will tell you the kbb trade-in value.

Unfortunately, they offered me $3800 for the cougar and I owe $7000.

I looked up KBB and NADA on the internet. I basically owe retail value on on it. Just FYI they are really good SUVs. I like mine a lot but I need something bigger with a third row of seats.

Mine is an SE which in 2001 meant you got a 6 disc in dash CD changer and sunroof. I have put a little over 20k per year on it.

The drawbacks are that the back seat is not really room but fine for kids.
It is not really powerful, strong enough to drive around with ease but not a lot of passing power or towing power.
The sunroof will not slide due to the roof design. It will popup.
Fuel economy is not great but not terrible.

I have seen where you can order a rear facing third row seat as an add on. I am thinking of doing that you can get one to match your interior for about $1000.
