Does anyone subscribe to this? I am thinking of joining when Halo2 comes onboard. Would be pretty neat to have a group of Halo players to play with/against when it comes out in November

I read somewhere that wireless wasn't the way to go in online gaming. Seems that host don't prefer wireless. Not so sure, may be upload speed

when wireless transmits at at slowest 11Mbps and Roadrunner does somewhere around 2Mbps, I don't see how wireless can be a problem. I mean shoot the adapter is even MADE for XBOX.

yeah, you're limited by your cable/DSL upload speed, which is much slower than the slowest wireless router connection, so the wireless isn't the bottleneck. Hosting games requires a good upload speed, but you can join games just fine even with a shitty 128 upload. And upload speed doesn't matter in hosting some games, but I'm pretty sure it will make a difference in the number of players who could join a halo2 game.

Xbox Live is a pretty sweet service, and they're constantly adding new features. Pretty soon you'll be able to see your friends list in MSN Messenger.

I have been playing Live on a wireless Linksys WET11 bridge for over a year and a half. I used to play Castle Wolfenstein all the time with no lag whatsoever, even though my bridge was on a different floor than my router.

Now, I just wish a good live game would come out. My Xbox is covered in dust. I never play it anymore.
