Xbox mod chipping

Who here is chipped? anyone?

If so, What are you using? and how are you making backups?

 

I got one. Been so long since I did it I forgot which one I used. The matrix I believe. I don't burn my games. I just rent em, pop em in, copy em to the hard drive (upgraded to 80 gig), and download the cracked xbe off the net.

I definitely want to get the one that I hear about you can turn on and off to be able to still play on Live.

I do NOT want to lose that ability, but Im finding it difficult to sort through the rift of various chips that are out there.

Cant seem to find the authority on what chip does what and is better for this and worse at that, etc etc.

I have an older WD 100Gb SE sitting here I would love to pop in there and attach to my network via a Linux dashboard of some sort, but I just need to fill in some of the details and make sure I fully understand.
