WXRC 95.7 FM has a new Schtick . . EEEEERRRR, F-O-R-M-A-T again . .

Bye, bye syndicated shows (i.e. LEX & TERRY in the AM, PHIL HENDRIE at night) and say hello to a heavy load of progressive hits from the 60's & 70's with fewer commercial breaks each hour. XRC new nickname will be 'The Ride' ( Is that the best the consultants could come up with ) ? ? ? ? Still smarting ratings wise since they dropper Howard Stern back in April of last year, the station is trying a new format again to get their sorry ass ratings up (last book, I think public radio station WFAE had tied them for last place ratings wise!!!!!). Will it make a difference though? In Chicago & San Francisco, similar format changes have resulted in higher ratings. But will Charlotte tune into the new format or stay with WRFX & WEND?
I wish Infinity Broadcasting would just buy this station on the cheap and bring back HOWARD STERN to Charlotte !!!!!!!!
