    Wow

I'm impressed. Guess not everybody's happy with this one.

That's pretty sour grapes from somebody who hasn't given him a chance. There's nobody reading that shitty website anyway, so it looks like he's talking to himself unless he linked it on a Jacksonville board.

Looking at his resume, there's certainly a point to be made about qualified and "more experienced" people not getting the interviews. I'm upset about that.

Who else should've been interviewed? I agree with you by the way. To go from LB coach, to DC, to HC in a little under a year is a little bit of a gamble. Who do you think got shafted?

personally? I think there were some college guys who should have been interviewed. I certainly think that Mularkey, even though he's young, has had a few years of success as a coordinator and makes a natural choice. I don't know that I'd be terribly hot on retread coaches, but there are and were some names out there.

It's a cycle, though. There are only so many new young faces out there, and two of them just got jobs. For every Gruden or Fisher there's always a Bill Musgrave or two, and the burnout level is much higher in young guys.

Yeah. I hope he does well, 'cause I seem to like him. I just hate to lose him so quickly. I'm anxious to see how much of what we had was him and how much was Fox.

I'm sure Jack had a good sense of what to do when, but as far as preparation and scheme, the rest of it can easily be replaced. Charisma is hard to replace, which is why no matter what happens we need Sam to be an integral part of what's going on. If the new DC is not a sideline type guy, Sam's going to have to carry this defense and I like that role for him.

I've got a feeling that if we don't tag Sam, Del Rio will. I don't think Fox and Hurney will deny permission for him to be interviewed if they decide he's not our man. I'dreally hate to lose him, too.
