Shut your hole. The issue was brought up in the thread and kickazzz asked a reasonable question.

I hate that now my Furman Paladins have to go face Va Tech after that upset last week. It's gonna be ugly.

HAHA, all of a sudden EZU beats VT and they would run the ACC? The only reason they had success is Pinkney and if he gets injured, they would fall apart. Every team is one injury away from the whole season falling apart, but Pinkney is the heart and soul of that team and if he goes down with an injury, its over for EZU. We all know Glennon sucks, if Taylor plays, its a different ball game.

It was a good win for EZU but don't get carried away, that's why their in C-USA and not the ACC. They came out and played hard against VT but if they played 10 more times, EZU would win 2 or 3 games total.

You are obviously clueless as to what happened so you are forgiven.

You should probably check some stats or something before spouting off with your soup-coolers. Our #2 QB is right up there with Pinkney...much better arm..though less mobile (5-2 as a starter last year).

Let's see....ECU had around 5.5 yards per play to VTs 3.5 or so. Minus one big play (60+ yard pass) VT had around 180 total yards. ECU had about 350yds. We gave them 20 points (missed FG, blocked XP from a walkon kicker bc ours was hurt, two boneheaded TOs in the first half that led directly to 14pts)
We would win at least 1/2 of the games if we played 10 times.

WVU should beat us, though....but we'll just have to wait and see. If, by some chance, we pull this one out it will be our 3rd win in a row over a ranked opponent. Whens the last time someone from the ACC did that? (#22 Boise, #17 VT, and hopefully #7/8 WVU)

No harm admitting the ACC is not very good this year (thats being very, very generous)

BTW...market size and a very bad 2 years (under John Thompson) are the two biggest reason we arent in the BEast right now (as well as being horrible in basketball for the most part) I, along with most other ECU fans, would prefer the BE anyways.

He's really not. I'm glad that Skip decided on Patrick because I want ECU to do well, but Rob Kass is not a good quarterback. You're right about his arm, but the guy makes bad decisions and good defenses eat him alive because of it.
Yeah, it was domination and it shouldn't have been close if not for a few huge screw-ups by the Pirates. That said, remember that ECU did really well against VT in Blacksburg last year and then barely beat Carolina at home. It's just not so simple as to say that because the Pirates beat the Hokies that they would dominate the ACC. They'd be competitive this year, as I expect them to beat State and Virginia, but they'd need a lot of luck to win the conference.
Come on, that's horseshit. ECU fans would kill to get into the ACC. You're just saying that because there are still a lot of bitter feelings about the Pirates not being considered when the ACC was adding teams, but as you generously put it, the basketball team is horrendous.
