    making an offer to Roy Williams by tomorrow and requests him to return his decision within 24 hours!:roflmao: :roflmao: :nopity:

    I wonder if this "24 hour" contingency is Baddour's idea? If so, I bet it's so that he'll receive the commission on the sale before he's fired!

    i HEARD THAT THIS MORNING. Roy Williams should tell UNC to stick that 24 hour notice up their ass.

    I just heard that Kansas will fire their AD, supposedly a requisite for Williams to stay.

    I heard that this morning also. Williams gets to choose the Ad also.

    Breaking news updated 1:43 p.m. CST, April 9, 2003

    Hemenway to hold news conference
    (Updated Wednesday at 1:43 p.m.) Kansas University sports information has announced that Chancellor Robert Hemenway will conduct a news conference at 3:30 p.m. today at the Hadl Auditorium in the Wagnon Student Athlete Center on KU's main campus. No details were available about the topic. However, Hemenway is expected to announce that Al Bohl will no longer be athletic director. Sources said Bohl met with Hemenway this morning.

    SPORTS FLASH

    TBR has learned that Kansas University and The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill have agreed in principle to a trade that will send mens basketball head coach Roy Williams to UNC in exchange for Dick Baddour (to replace Al Bohl as Director of Athletics), three recruits from Matt Doherty's regime, and an undisclosed amount of cash. Sources state the AD vacancy at UNC caused by this trade will not impede future progress of the athletics programs at North Carolina but instead will, "allow for much needed renovation".
