    I totally agree. $15 a month is more than what you'll get out of it if you stick with it

    What is the big deal with this game? I've been told that some people require an intervention (literally) to stop playing it. I played EQ back in 98 for about 2 weeks in beta, got bored, and moved on. What is so captivating? If I play it, will I be signing over my soul?

    Yes. It's similar to EQ in that it's an MMO. However it's nothing like EQ in terms of gameplay. You have that fantasy element like most MMOs, but it's on steriods. I thought EQ sucked balls btw

    My brother plays the hell out of it. He even installed it on my PC when he came to visit. That alone made me nervous about addiction.

    (I think he has some of them 10 day trial thingies).

    I'm more of an RTS or Battlefield type gamer. Hope I dont get bored. I did love Starcraft & WC3, so Im kinda familiar with the setting, I guess.
