    i played a 14 day trial just recently. i'm gonna go another 14 days a little later when we get our lan party geeks -- er, friends -- to sign up as well. the trial accounts can't do certain things that are probably important for groups playing together (like trading items, for example) so it might not be the best trial experience, but what the heck -- free is free.

    i got a troll mage up to level 16. me and a friend were tackling ragefire (he was level 17 tauren druid). suffice to say we didn't get too far. then the trial was up.

    The Scourge Invasion has begun! I didn't have time to really sit and play tonight, but I did run over to Tanaris and helped a raid group fight off a few waves. Pretty cool so far... could be interesting.

    Made 60, by the way. I'll try to post a screenshot once I've got some more of my Dreadmist/Deathmist Raiment.

    I was leery about paying a subscription myself, but the replay value and online interaction blows that of any console game totally away. I'd say fifteen bucks a month is a fair price for that. You ought to take the plunge.
