    Anyone playing?

I've been playing EQ2 since it launched in Nov., and actually like it.

I've always wanted to play WoW though, so I'm gonna pick it up tonight.

Any thoughts, bitches, moans or complaints?

WCIII made this decision for me.

I wasnt impressed and until someone shows me in person how "cool" it may be, I'm not interested.

i've been meaning to get into one of these mmorpgs but i just haven't really felt the need. i bought eq1 ages ago and didn't even bother playing online cuz the graphics and interface sucked so severly...

i've been leaning towards wow, but i'm not sure. i want to get some friends to commit and set up a weekly time to play. i'm not big on anonymous multiplayer games...

Well, it kicks ass. It's better than EQ2 at the lower levels so far.

You can tell the high end game is all about PvP.

I was hesitant about the cartoony graphics at first, but I got over that real quick. It even has a good quest system.

Well, from what I've seen, the combat looks alittle cheesy and the graphics are PS2 quality. Not something you want from an MMO.

I'm rather disappointed, If the gameplay and graphics weren't like that, I would have played for sure. (Big Matrix nerd :D )

Well from what I've observed, EQ2 is all about grouping. Any good quest you pick up, ultimately needs to be a group thing.

This is where WoW is better, IMO, most of these quests you can solo, are linear and don't need a group. Now I did group with a real life friend for the ones I picked up and things went smoother, but you don't need to group.
