    This is a shocker! The College of Charleston has found some deep pockets evidently. The only good move about this is he will live on the oceanfront, a lateral move at best, although the SoCon is a slightly better conference.

    the folks in Columbia are gonna be pissed. everybody wanted to get rid of Odom and hire Marshall.

    yeah, Id rather live in Charleston than Rock Hill

    What schools?


    It does seem lateral in terms of the recent quality of the program but it has a better tradition, he will be making about double and gets to live in a better place. He will probably get more attention there than Winthrop. For whatever reason bigger programs weren't going after him.
