Amen. Dukes defense forced the turnovers and steals, you have to give them most of the credit for Carolina's poor play. Carolina did a good job on defense too, put the game into the hands of a freshman, but he responded.

What a dumbass statement, he was 8-14 so assuming he did happen to get all 6 rebounds of those misses that would give him 12 for the game instead of 18, which we know didn't happen since I watched the game, he still outrebounded SW.

But you are right about one thing, I am sure May would trade all 18 for the win.

Sure all coaches do it all the time, the difference is that K touched a player on the court, if the player is on the court, then part of K was on the court or either the player was out of bounds, either way you spin it, it was a TO.

It was Duke/UNC - I wouldn't be surprised to see a 1 point game at Chapel Hill. You can throw the ratings out the window.

First time I think I've ever heard fans of a team use playing like shit as a reason for being better.

UNC Turned the ball over and played sloppily because of Duke's defense. UNC Shot 43.9 compared to 37.5. Neither is good, but UNC shot better than Duke and STILL lost. Oh and Brain, May probably owned Shav more than he did Williams, considering after he got in foul trouble Shav started guarding him more. So congrats on that one:laugh1:

I didn't even really noticed the fact that Duke only had one basket below the arc in the second half. Nelson surprised me, and i am the first person to say that I don't trust nelson with the ball, but he gained a lot of respect from me tonight. He showed why he was the leading scorer in California last season. I don't know why they have McCants on the cover of Sports Illustrated cause Sean May is the best player on the Tar Heels. Or at least most consistent. McCants looked like he didn't even want to be there and May showed a lot of heart and toughness. I think Duke wanted it more. It always seems like Daniel Ewing is ice cold, and then he ends up with around 15 points a game. I would gladly do Demarcus Nelson's homework :xyzthumbs It's hard to say UNC is overrated or not but they have lost to every other ranked team in the ACC this year. For being picked 4th or 5th in the conference this year, Duke's not havin such a bad year :laugh1:

except for State, Maryland, UVA and Georgia Tech -- all ranked at one time this season.

Seeing as how they have lost two ACC games like dook and Wake I guess all three teams are overrated on your criteria :laugh1:
