Work races ahead to get RFK ready for MLB in 3 months . . Will they get done on time  ? ?

You know, I've always wondered how RFK was setup for baseball back when the Senators played there. If you look carefully at the 3rd base line seats, you can tell that's an entirely seperate section (those seats swirled around to centerfield for Redskins games . . That's why I kept seing those seats bounce when I was a kid when I saw them play on TV :D :D !!!!!!!). I think RFK was the first stadium to have these type of seats (to be followed by Astrodome, Riverfront, Shea, 3 Rivers, Busch, and the other cookie cutter stadiums built 'back in the day'). Workers have a tight deadline to get RFK ready for a preseason game in early April against the Mets . . . I hope they can make it  !!!!

So they'll have RFK, which was unused, for the team? I guess that's cool.

The MLS United was using RFK . . . I think they will have to put down that fake grass vs. real grass so both teams can use it (the dirt bathpaths for baseball can be covered for soccer games).
