yeah it is. This move's like microfracture - only hopefully with better results. Break something down in hopes of building it back right. If it doesn't, well, he's broken. Starting Fasani won't do much to help him grow either.

Make no mistake about it - this will test who and what Weinke is as a person.

You guys are all wrong. Weinke's gone. I don't know what's up, but it's something. Maybe Fox just don't like the guy. Fox just is not making sense. He sounds like a robot all of a sudden.

On one hand we're a young team, building.. On the other hand, Fox will do whatever it takes to win this Sunday.

Unless Fox is thinking play-offs, there's no reason why we can't sacrafice a few games to get Weinke playing time, if he's still the future of this team.

Everything but a robot... if anything he has a little Spurworrier in him :D

Here is the deal... option A or B

    A. Winky is average at best, benching him only gives Fasani hope or he is more willing to go 5-11 with Fasani than 4-12 with Winky.

    B. He (as previous poster mentioned) just trying to light a fire under Winkys lax ass.

Cal Fox Dumb or call him a rookie, but calling him a robot is well... odd.. Siefart was a robot, a robot on an expired battery some will say...

Sandman, listen to me....there's nothing that Weinke, Fox, or Fasini can ever do to make me think any different of you.

The Panthers changed QB's this time last year. It bought us 1 game. Big fucking deal. Yea, sent a message that nobodies job was safe. Did a lot of good too, huh?

Fox and Henning said they would build the offense around Weinke's talents, so how does that all of a sudden make Peete more qualified?

That basically means they'll be running a standard Henning offense or the other 10 guys will have to start learning all over again. Either way, Weinke's gone and we are fucked at QB, and I don't care about the best thing out of Stanford since John Elway.
