    1) He ain't retiring any time soon

    2)David Thompson was the best ACC player ever

    3)James Worthy was the best Tarheel while in college - said he was a man among boys

    4) Jordan and LT were not as dominate in college as they were in pros

    Finally something of substance from that SOB. Worthy is the guy I most wanted to leave early. The guy is so underrated and overshadowed. Damn everybody thinks Micheal won that Georgetown game singlehandly when it was in fact Worthy. Go get the stats. And in LA it was magic and Jabbar. I actually like Worthy. DT was a no brainer. MJ before MJ.

    I dont think anybody thinks James Worthy was underrated. even in LA he was "Big Game James"

    Yup I don't think you can even find too many UNC fans that think Worthy was better than Jordan in college, and that's not saying Jordan was bad. I also don't think you'll hear too many disagreements from UNC fans that Thompson was the best EVER in the ACC, and seriously could've challenged Jordan for that title in all of basketball had he not got in to the drugs. Len Bias as well could've challenged Jordan for the crown.

    Went to a regional in Greensboro once. They had ALL final four teams voted on by the fans. 80's all FF team included Micheal Jordan, but NO Worthy. Unbelievable.

    For you guys who never saw DT, you missed a treat. The year State won the national Championship, UNC was ranked around 6 and Maryland was 3. State was 6-0 that year vs those teams. DT wouldn't let them lose. Heard Driesell say it once. You couldn't guard him. Put a small guy on him he went over him. Lefty put 6-8 Owen Brown on him and DT simply went by him. Great great player.
