    Great quote, HB!

    That brings up another point. As far as I can recall, there is nothing in the bible that says that women in general are supposed to submit to men in general. If I'm not mistaken, the instances in which that is discussed are limited to marriage & the structure of the church.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    I wouldn't disagree with that. At least, I haven't seen any evidence to the contrary. And something important to keep in mind is that Biblically speaking, the roles of men and women in the home and in the church have absolutely nothing to do with their inherent value.

    Beth Moore isn't exactly a preacher because she doesn't have a pulpit, though she does have a very large Coed Bible class (700 in class) at her local church in Texas.

    Her ministry focus began as in-depth Bible Study for women..but her videos and workbooks are excellent and the classes are open to men.. If you ever have a chance to study her material..go for it..or better still, have your church order her study material/videos for group studies.
