    Have they used their I-AA win in the past 4 years for a bowl game? They might have a problem being bowl eligible as it looks like anyone other than FSU isn't a shoe-in if teams are so close in talent, it's a week-topweek thing.

    Seriously, State is going to have to work hard to have a year in which they have both an offense and a defense that are championship-caliber if they want to be considered to be 'big time'. Right now, the offense is pretty good, even without the running game, but that defense looks out-manned. All the youngin' playing defense for State and UNC should pay off in a couple of years, maybe even next year.

    I'd say the only difference between State and UNC, in terms of wins, right now is some dumb luck for State. Our defense is awful.
