Probably, but to go where? Will 'the lake of fire' stay burning for anyone who wants to turn away from God, even after Judgment Day?

but as a child do you remember feeling the joy you speak of or do you look back at that time and long for the joy? when i look back i see that i never noticed my joy possibly due to having that innosense. not saying the innocense is bad in any way just rewording the "youth is wasted on the young" paradigm

I was happier and more peaceful as a young boy than I have been as an adult, or even a teen. Did I realize it? Not as much as I do now. But that doesn't change the fact I was happy. So, I'd concede that much of the appreciation is lost, but I don't think the absence of evil necessarily eliminates that which makes 'good' what it is.

Good point and God being omnipotent would know we would do that. Maybe we are thinking too much within time. Free will requires that you make choices as they present themselves. Take time out of the equation and its hard to comprehend. What if you knew everything that had ever happened and everything that will happen in the future. That would certainly change the rules.

Excellent point, and one I had not thought of. That does add a new dimension to contemplating life in heaven, doesn't it?

but it's not until later in life that you really appreciate your childhood.

edit: guess this point was already made.

How do the Christians feel about the "I am my brother's keeper" thing?

According to terry there is no good or evil. No redundant experimentation has been done there. It's not even covered by any scientific branch of study.
