    Will anybody be really surprised if Curtis goes 18 and 10 this year like DeMarco did as a soph? It'll be tough with Brown, Plavich, and ITi, but it wouldn't totally shock me.

    How is Benny Moss as a big man coach? I wish DeMarco would show Curtis the low post moves, he has everything else down IMO.

    I have often said they are very similar. I actually think Withers has more game after one year than Demarco, and runs much better. Demarco had intangibles that I am not sure Withers has yet though.

    I think Curtis' 10-15 extra muscle pounds should help his effectiveness inside this year. 70% from the line is a good start, but he should get at least another 5% to be really effective, especially when guys slap at him after he blows by.

    when all else fails, steal a thread from TBR and use it elsewhere.:D

    I would not be publicly admitting that you take anything Langston Wertz says seriously, especially a judge of talent. The only thing Wertz is good for is rating video games in the entertainment section.

    I did not see this thread. I started mine based on the Withers talk in the Bennett thread. You're one to bring this up. You get most of your info from cusa-talk.com and then discuss it here. Quite funny, really. I have nothing against you. You do a good job of spreading to the word over here. You're kind of like our local correspondent. :D

    chisox, with all due respect.....butt out.

    this has been going on for a year and a half, and there is a history here of Niner fans who see clearly and the others with blinders on that get pissed if you say anything realistic. I am no longer allowed to post at the other site, yet they don't want to respond to legit hoop topics here, just cause trouble (lefty, sayhey/groucho, mk). so if they wanna talk about a certain thread, why not keep it here and not take it to the other board.

    Withers will be a much better player than Demarco, I have said it before I stand behind it.......

    The probelm is will Lutz use him or will the guards still throw up the same old shit they always do......

    By the way, what is this shit I am hearing that Johson will be back?

    What a major mistake by Lutz if he allows that.....
