    Notes:

    Wingspan: 6-9 1/2

    Standing reach: 8-4

    Maximum vertical jump: 38.5 inches

Summary: Scouts Inc. Evaluation: A very versatile and athletic wing player, Noel was an important contributor to North Carolina's 2005 National Championship team and averaged 13 points and 7 rebounds for the UNC in the 2005-06 season. He has good size, is very strong and plays very hard.
Noel has good ability to rebound and post-up from the small forward spot. He can score on mid-range shots and is good coming off down-screens. However, he has proven to be an inconsistent shooter. He shot 42.4 percent last season from the college 3-point line but has been only a 55-60 percent free-throw shooter in his career. For someone who has the ability get to the free-throw line, he desperately needs to improve his shooting.

Noel doesn't have an NBA skill which separates him from other players. He has potential to make it, because he is very tough, versatile and scores in different ways. But he needs to improve his shooting consistency and ball handling. He'll be either a late second-round pick or go undrafted.

that really depends on what's taken in the first.

If they get Thomas or Aldrige I could easily see Noel, but If its Roy or Gay, I think they'd go with a big man.

    This wouldn't bother me.

The improvement he made from 04/05 -> 05/06 was astounding, and there's no doubt about his athleticism.
