OL is a huge need but the fat fuck running this shit better realize we new a true #1 WR sooner rather than later. Smitty ain't getting any younger and there is no one on the roster close to a 1 outside of 89.

I can't decide what to do after OL in the first. On one hand we need help in the secondary. On the other another oline would help greatly too. And we still need to replace 89 so do you try to do it there?

As I have posted many times, spread offenses don't need "a true #1 WR." The Giants did use a late first on Nicks in '09 and the Saints used one on Robert Meachem in '07, but for the most part they and teams like Green Bay or New England don't use first round picks on wide receivers. If you can get a Julio Jones, A.J. Green, or Calvin Johnson then of course you do it, but you don't have that option anywhere outside the top ten. WR has a very, very high bust rate and even I'm not great at telling who will make it (much easier to identify those who probably won't).

Watkins will definitely go early while Evans and Benjamin probably come off the board well before #28 as well. It wouldn't kill me to take Marquise Lee or Jordan Matthews in the first, but while they could be more productive than LaFell they aren't "a true #1 WR" either. It seems like some Panthers fans are still stuck in the past where two WRs got all the targets, but that isn't this offense. This offense spreads the ball around, so even a great WR isn't involved on most passes. Guess who is involved on every pass? The quarterback and the offensive linemen.

#28) Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee - I'm not a huge fan, but OT is such a need that I think you take the best available guy. As noted, I would trade up to get Lewan if he fell into the 20s since he's a safe left tackle. Richardson has more potential because he's stronger and more athletic, but there is quite a bit of risk there.

#60) Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech - Really liked him when I watched the Hokies. He stands out because he finds the ball. Fuller is probably listed this low because he's not that fast, but I'd rather have a guy with good instincts who likes tackling. I'd be really happy about getting him in the second round.

#92) Morgan Moses, OT, Virginia - I thought about Abbrederis since I do like him and WR is a need, but I'd rather double down at tackle if Moses is there. I didn't see the Cavaliers much, but he looked good from what little I saw. I generally prefer lighter tackles than these two.

Pretty much every mock will have us taking a WR at #28, which I doubt we will. I've heard ]good things about the Oregon State guy but haven't watched him myself.
