The turnover really killed us in the first half.winthrop is going to be a very dangerous team in the the big dance

good game against a very good, experienced Wntrop team. Heels still look very young but have a lot of players that can play. Offense ahead of the defense. Still look out of synch at times but they'll do nothing but get better.

Terry is still a concern for me - he is back to his streaky self - bad first half last night then awesome second half

tonight he was MIA for most of the game. I guess that means he scores 20 next time. He has got to find some consistentcy.

Anyone see that sign that the Gonzaga fans had about how all the people on the east coast should watch out for Gonzaga all the way from Chapel Hill to Durham? Ummmm....Guess they didn't know that they are like 2 seconds apart. I know they play both teams but I really wouldn't mind seeing UNC clean their clocks and shut them up. Congrats for beating Baylor by a whopping 9 points

They need to practice the free throws...
especially Tyler... 2 games i think he miissed 10 to 12 freebies..

young and they played out of control alot of times..but i'm somewhat pleased.

Winthrop's starting 5 was better than your starting 5. They just didn't have the depth.

Stole this from TDD. Winthrop attempted one free throw THE WHOLE GAME.....where is the outrage?

    "
Sure, they only won by 7 against a mid-major in a de facto home game, but check this: they held a NCAA tourney team - last year, and likely this year - to ZERO points from the line. They, in fact, didn't commit a single shooting foul against a veteran, tested ball club. Not one.

Duke, in our wildest wet dreams, could not hope to match this record of non-contact. Not in the friendly, some say biased, confines, of CIS. Not against D-II squads in blow-out preseason matchups. Nay, this record may not be broken. Bill Raftery, aging sage of the hardwood, was rendered speechless when asked if he had ever seen this before. No wonder, it was truly a sight to behold

They should have just made good on their one opportunity.
