    I would have thought UT but as bad as you say their facilities and support is, I don't know now. I don't know all the firings out there, but in reality I don't think that Marshall would like his long term chances for success at Charlotte. So I guess you might could get him for a few years, but then he might bolt after that. I think he makes a Prosser-type leap. Or he could be the next Kresse or Tarant.

    The only jobs open right now are UT, UVa & UMass. Slim pickings as far as better than Charlotte (not that our job is or will be open). I wouldnt want UT or UVa for nearly identical reasons, though UVa is the lesser evil. UMass? Ughh. No thanks. The right guy could win up there, but it wouldn't be a southern boy from Rock Thrill, S.C.

    Winthrop will beat Gonzaga and will make the Sweet 16.

    A report on 700 WLW overheard from my Diesel ears states that UT has thrown major moolah towards "Thuggins" Bob Huggins. His longtime top assistant is at Ohio State and his contract does not roll over anymore.

    If I'm Gregg Marshall, the South Carolina job will open pretty soon, unless Dave Odom finds the second coming of Tim Duncan.
