Thats cool, my boy "Tony" takes care of people that look after my honor...

But again, Its never a good thing when one of your players gets injured. I never wanted Winky Dinky to get hurt so Randy Sandy could play.

Not that it necessarily translates to great play on the field, but I like where Fasani is looking and dreaming.

When he was drafted, reporters asked him who he would compare himself to. His answer was John Elway. Now he has a chance to come off the bench and start, and he's thinking about reigning Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady.

He's cocky but in a constructive way, and I think that's a good trait in a young quarterback. Listening to him, I'm noticing that cockiness is something that has been missing in this organization for a while, or so it seems to me. (Steve Smith notwithstanding)

I don't know how well he'll do in his career with the Panthers, but I still think he has the potential to be "the guy" on offense. He probably won't be a superstar, maybe not even a Pro Bowler, but he could be a guy that is respected in the league and wins.

    Maybe.

Yea, a lot of media and ex-coaches going around saying they wouldn't have players on their team because of this or that, but we're missing that type of attitude.

You can put Terrell Owens, Keyshawn Johnson and Randy Moss all on my team anytime, and then you can give me the biggest cry baby QB in the league. They just want to win. They just want to be loved.

Fasani's got his start. I hope he makes it count. Atleast if we win this game, no one can doubt our competition. It's not like his first start is In Cincy where everyone can say he wasn't tested.

He certainly has intangibles...a little swagger, a bit of spark, some athleticism. I can't wait to see if he actually has tangibles to play QB or if he's going to become Dan Reeves.

Whoa, Y2. Let's not get crazy. I said in a constructive way. TO, Key, and Moss are quintessentially DEstructive to their teams. Sure, they put up ungodly stats from time to time, but not one has a ring. And I'm willing to bet they never will, either.

And if the 49ers win the Super Bowl, to quote Builder I'll be happy to take a big gulp of STFU, along with my crow.

i think Fasani is gonna play very well expecially if his receivers catch the ball.

quandary: if Panthers win against Tampa and Fasani isn't injured and Peete is ready to go after the bye week, who would you start? you are 4-4, back in playoff hunt. do you go with: a) experience and the guy least likely to make mistakes, b) the promising rookie, c) Fox's gut as to the best chance to win? answer to this question if Fasani plays really well and provides an obvious spark? answer if he plays okay but like a rookie and defense wins in spite of inept offense?

if Panthers lose and season is virtually sunk, do you go with A) Peete as soon as he is ready b} Weinke c) stick with Fasani d) Hasseledback E) Hurney's gut as to who is most likely to continue improving our draft status? by the way, if someone were to answer B would that mean that they have mush for brains? would you after this loss then bench Peppers, Morgan, etc. for the rest of the year in order to avoid injuries and to improve draft status. if we did this, would the NFL then come up with a lottery system? If you pick Peete, how many more losses before you say WTF and see if Weinke/Fasani can be the future?
