Winky Bonus Update?

Anybody have any clue about how many more games it will take (or has it already happened) for Winky not to get any of his incentives this year? Hopefully not many more, he was way, way, way, way overpaid last year.

 

He made $375,000 last year I believe. The incentives aren't based on the year they are achieved - they escalate the later years of the contract.

I never liked the contract in that it was based entirely on playing time. No performance incentives. I really didn't like it when Fasani got similar incentives as a 5th round pick, either. There was no need.

 

Is that a hard contract to trade out of? And what's the hit if they're cut after June 1st? Also is there there any type of roster bonus due at that time?

 

I believe there's a roster bonus due next year. The salaries should be escalating into over the $1 mil mark and I'm sure more than that. This'll be a cut, I doubt anybody'd want him at that price.
