Captain Morgan wings were the best ever. Not the poster, the wing sauce at BW's. For some awful reason they took them from me. Before that, the Bee Stings at Morehead and Teriyaki at the Firehouse.

Plz. let me 'splain.....I've had 'drumettes' that were almost as big as 'drumsticks'.....and the wing portion equally as big....just more meat than I look for in conventional buffalo wangs....I'm a self-proclaimed chikin wang connoisseur. The method of eating said wangs is almost ritual. Too much meat on a single portion interrupts the timing of tossing the bones into the corner of the plate. It's a science. I don't expect everyone to understand.

I had some pretty damn tasty ones at Woodlands in Blowing Rock last weekend

some were hot some were mild but the wings were very big, lots of meat and good and crispy on the outside

Woodlands is the king of wings. They used to have a Woodlands here in Hickory but now the Blowing Rock one is the only one left. :(

I grabbed an order at WingStop across from Park Rd. Shopping Center last night. They sucked.

I think I know what he's gettin at. Some Chicken Wings when they have a lot of meat on them, start to lose the flavor of the sauce. If I wanted to taste plain ole white meat chicken with no sauce and is a long way off from the good crisp outside, I'd order a plain old chicken breast. Wings need to have the wing taste all the way through.
