I am guessing that in less the Bobcats make a move to move up and get either Williams at 1 (no chance I bet) or to #3 to get Paul (much better chance) the Bobcats will have their choice between Raymond Felton or Daron Williams. While they both have their pluses, Felton has quickness, and Williams has better size who would you think will make a better pro and hopefully be taken by the Bobcats?

Felton, only because you can't teach speed. Felton, really showed a lot of improvement from the year before.

If he can learn to change gears and slow his game down at the right times, and continue to work on his shooting even more, then he could be a real talent.

Williams. He's taller and a better defender. Felton might someday be the better player, but then again he might be a bust. Williams will be a solid if not spectacular point guard for a long time in the NBA.

So were the IFs that LeBron James, Carmello Anthony, tons of other players have recently had. Just like the IFs that Marvin Williams has this year, but they're drafted on potential. I'm not saying Felton is the next LeBron, but he's got a much better upside than Deron Williams.

Why are only Tarheel fans saying that though? Are we talking about the 13th pick?

He has weaknesses as well. His offense isn't as good as Felton. He can become more predictable at running the offense. While he does a good job, he isn't a PG that is going to take your team to the next level.

Felton could be a bust, but that is a chance you take with 95% of the players drafted. Felton has a better upside where Williams just doesn't have that potential imo.
