What are you going to do?

  1. Never. The NBA is still a disgrace to basketball.

Do they have a building Downtown wide enough to put May's image on?

He should be able to fit into DC's uniform. I'm thinking May Day myself and have a giant float in his image.

I've seen them play a few times and would like to go more.
I like the team's scrappiness and I like Bernie's coaching style.
They were young last year and they were pretty much in 75-80% of the games and did'nt quite have the experience to close in the 4th.

state fans are pissed because the Bobcats didnt take Hodge, and swing some kind of deal to remove Sendek too.

State fans (not all, but some) can be worse than UNC fans at times.

I don't see anyone on there that thinks Hodge was a top-15 player, but boy they sure didn't like either pick. And you're right, the inferiority complex wrt Carolina is unreal.

Don't worry Sly, the Hornets tried doing this going into their second season and drafted a Tarheel in the first round to spark interest, J.R. Reid, and everyone was expecting great things from him and Chapman. The reason why people cheered for the Hornets was it was a bunch of blue collar guys like Mugsy and Dell, Kenny Gattison, Kelly Tripucka, Kendall Gill, Mourning, and Larry Johnson. I will still never forget Mourning's shot at the top of the key to beat the Celtics and win the first ever playoff series, but more people were going to the Duke and UNC practices for the NCAA tournament than they were for any Bobcats game! There's a reason for that...
