Just for those who may be interested, here's one of the more compelling bits of evidence. According to documentation, none of the 445 home runs that Barry Bonds hit in the major leagues from 1986 through 1999 went 450 feet or further. Between 2000 and 2004, however, he hit 21 home runs that went at least 450 feet.

FWIW, #755 was given up by a guy (Clay Hensley) who was suspended for steriods.

I happened to be at the game last saturday to see 755. It was pretty cool. I am glad it is over though.

I have no respect for Bonds (or McGwire, Sosa or any of the other juicers playing). I still consider Aaron the record holder although I'm sure MLB couldn't care less what I think. Most of these records over the last 10-15 years carry the taint of steroids, HGH etc. Too bad because the chances to improve yourself through weight training and nutrition without the chemicals are easily available today.

I watched most of it. I saw him take a strike, foul a ball off short to right, and turned it. I guess right after he hit the homerun, but I didn't really have much interest, like, dislike, any of it, and I've seen it a ton without trying since.

He's definitely still on HGH. He tested positive for amphetamines last year after all the steroids surrounding him. I got bored and started reading Game of Shadows again and forgot just how damning that book is to Bonds and Olympic Track and Field. They have schedules of his steroid use and he said he took flaxseed oil by placing it under his tongue. Who the hell puts flaxseed oil under their tongue.
