I'm going. I like basketball. they are putting a team together the right way. They've got good guys on the court.

I also work in a building right next to the arena.

I'll go watch a few games because I'm interested, but the ticket cost is just too damned much to consistently go to games. I think the team made a major mistake raising them to the point they are now. At the very least they should have established the team first, and made the public actually WANT to go see them, before jacking up the price.

Thats ok Bob, I hate the NBA. But thanks anyway. What a kind hearted guy you are. Maybe you can take QC REPRESENT in my place.

I have season tickets to the Checkers so I'll be in the new arena plenty...I'll just be watching a better game.

Thanks guys for the replies. I'm interested to see how everyone responds to them.

I might go sometime if they run a discount ticket night or something. I live about an hour from Charlotte so I only made it to a handful of Hornets games. I did follow them closely for a few years though before Zo left. I plan on going to a concert at the new arena sometime soon so I am curious about it.

The NBA as a whole has lost a lot of its luster. It will take a while to get me to care about it again. If the Bobcats start winning that might help.

Its really quite beautiful. The scoreboard is fucking amazing. The seating arrangements are fucked up for hockey, but otherwise the sight lines are good. The suites are nice and they have a nice area on the same level with the suites where you can buy 6 or so tix and sit on bar stools, with a bar/table in front of you. Kind of a neat idea for a bunch of guys that wanna drink a lot of beer and eat while watching the game.

The Bobcats have a practice court inside which I thought was cool even though I don't like them.

There is also a seperate entrance for season ticket holders.

The colors are bright. The entire place sparkles and is huge. I didn't know if I'd like it, but so far I do. I absolutely cannot wait to see a game played there. I'm sure the lights and scoreboard and special effects will be awesome.

I think I'm most curious to know if you guys will go to see the bobcats, or the arena. Which one will be the reason you walk in the door?
