will dirk novitzki ever win MVP?

this guy is a freaking stud.

gotta be his in a couple of years, but the competition will be tough.

 

hard to say... Kobe isn't even totally at his prime yet... if/when he hits it he'll be hard to compete with

 

if kg had a team around him, it'd be tough not to consider him. t-mac is pretty sick as well.

 

dirk has mad game, but the problem with him is that he does not play defense. he's a solid team defender at times, but his man up skills lack dearly. garnett needs to put on some weight if he wants to take it to the next "next" level. he has the physical tools and size and his rebounding and defense has increased year after year it seems.

back to dirk, hell, with nash, finley, lafrentz on the floor at the same time- he doesnt get nearly the attention of a t-mac or a garnett or even a mashburn.

 

Remember when the Hornets drafted George Zidek? The Mavs took Finley one pick before that. I was real pissed about that back in the day.

 

Will Dirk with a MVP. Not with KG, Garnett, T-Mac, and Kobe in the league. In a few years he might have to worry about some guy call Lebron
