I missed the selling part, but even still, it's not like moving out of state is going to help him get his act together. You can be a pot dealer pretty much anywhere in the US.

Brain, what in the world makes you think I'm 40 something years old? No, I am a college student, and am in my 4th year. If English equates to weird art, then yes I am a weird art student.

I am still embarrassed that you attended my university. Although, I do think it's ironic (and therefore clever, in its own special way) that you call yourself The Brain.

 

True you can be a pot dealer anywhere. But sometimes getting oneself away from the group that you hangout with can help. We really don't know all the facts, so it's really hard to know for sure. IMO the move of going farther away could help, can't hurt any further at least.

If he is really a thug and has the desire to be a dope dealer then he will mess up and do it again. If he is a kid who just got caught up with the wrong crowd or his idea of trying to be cool then the change of scenery could help.

Either way I am glad that UNC didn't keep him, no matter how good he is doing. We need to keep things going in the right direction, why take a chance when you don't have to? Sure any kid you bring into the program could mess things up, but I would think a kid with a history of that would have bigger chance of messing up.

Some can change their ways and some can't.

UNC isn't the halfway house for basketball players to get their act together, imo he shouldn't have been able to play on any D1 school for a year.

I don't think selling pot really makes him a thug. Honestly, I think it was a bad decision to take away his scholarship, it may have looked bad at first, but he's a hell of a ball player.

I'm not sure how much of a change of scenery he's getting, there's shitloads of pot on every college campus. It's not like he was out shooting people and robbing banks, he sold some pot.

 

I guess we know which side of the pot world you live in then. :xyzthumbs
