    UNC and Roy would have been reamed 10 new assholes if he had given Curry a scholarship. I can hear the shitstorm now about UNC "thugs" with a convicted felon on the team.

    Personally I agree he deserved another chance - but you sure didn't see UNCC or any other ACC schools jump in and offer him a scholarship.

    Jameson was probably the right move at that time.....sucks cause that kid is one helluva scorer...at least in this game (only one i've seen of him).

    Now, the whole Jason Parker thing.... :scared2: :drool:

    Pleeeease, he wouldn't have come to Charlotte, we're not a big enough program yet. I'm pretty sure that if he had any interest in Charlotte, the offer would have been on the table.

    JamesOn couldn't have played anywhere in NC. The extra added pressure from taunting would have been unbelievable. He'd have that constantly weighing on his mind. He needed to go elsewhere. I hate he's gone and I'd have loved to have had him here, but in the end it may be the best thing for him. At UNC he'd have to sit at least 1 year behind McCants, if not 2. Then he'd have to battle 3 other guys that will be pushing for playing time at that spot. On top of having to deal with the drug trafficing charges fueling fans like Dook, Wake, State, and anyone else instate for all 4 years.

    Nope, they did the right thing for themselves at the time and the right thing for Curry. It was best for him to get out of town to get his act together.

    I am glad he has so far, hopefully it was a one time thing for the kid.

    I'm sure he won't hear AAANNNNYTHING from fans at the schools he's facing now. It's not like information like that stays locked away in a vault only people from NC can read.

    If that kid can't handle heckling, he's not going to make it at any school.
