why no more Tennessee?

    I remember we used to play Tennessee with some regularity back in the 90's, but not any more. In fact we had one of the largest comebacks in NCAA history there if I remember correct with Jarvis and co. Judy Rose spent time there, you would think she could get us a game with them. I think with Buzz there, they should be an up and comer. Maybe Buzz subscribes to the UNC CH rule of thumb scheduling games vs the 49ers.:D

    Judy's only connection is with Pat Summit, when she was an assistant coach at UT. They are playing Melvin's Texas A & M squad in Knoxville this season. I don't know that Buzz and Bobby had any real connections with each other.

    i want us to schedule a game against clemson within the next couple of years. we are always in recruiting battles with them, not to mention the fact that nickleberry is there now...

    I'd settle for that third game with South Carolina that Odom cancelled.

    When Odom was coach at Wake, he made the statement he would never schedule the 49ers.
