    And Tuten in?

And when did Morgan get hurt?

Nesbit wasn't isted on ESPN's infirmiry list, most have been a gametime decision. Maybe he's sick?

Don't know what happened to Morgan?

    MOrgan pulled Groin.

I think Nesbit may be in the dog house.

According to this morning's Herald (and the pre-game show) Melvin Tuten will be starting at guard today in place of Jamar Nesbit. The only time at guard that Tuten has gotten was last week at practice as he is normally a tackle.

Fox said (and I am paraphrasing) that it isn't a knock at Nesbit but rather simply a matter of putting the best 5 OL guys on the field.

But considering all the penalties against Tuten I'm not so sure.

It was a terrible decision. :barf: Nesbit's been solid.

Tuten had solid pass protection all game, blocked well for smith- but his penalties were horribly timed. How many false starts did he get flagged for?

I saw that. I don't know how Tuten is one of our best five linemen, especially considering he never figured into our decision at RG nor did he ever push Terry at RT. Nesbit came in as one of our three solid starters and he wasn't playing that badly. If Tuten got some play at RT that's something else. With Terry having legal troubles the prospect of losing him is real...that Nesbit's not one of our five best linemen by our team's feeling makes me wonder why he wasn't fighting for a job this year.

Sounds more like they're still negotiating a new contract and they wanted to show Jamar they can live without him. Oops.

LJ - Tuten was flagged four times total. He was OK in protection but he had a lot of help against Glover.

I want to know why James wasn't put in ahead of Tuten. Hasn't Jeno shown numerous times he's better than Melvin, especially at guard? For crying out loud, he was pushing Donnalley for his job! Like Magnus said, Tuten hasn't pushed anyone for anything. He's just been a backup, and then only at tackle. Oh, I would just love to hear Fox's reasoning behind that little move.

Oh, and BTW, with all the penalties on the OL today, I hope Boudreau was having a major conniption.
