Why is he The Tuna?

I've never been a fan of the Giants or any other team Parcells has been with...

I never cared before... But I just gotta know now -

why is his nickname "The Tuna"?

 

I've wondered this as well.

 

smells like fish???

 

Is he Shaped like a tuna? or does he LIKE tuna? I know people on a diet EAT tuna... and he needs to shed a few pounds...

 

I don't know Tuna is a good Diet food... so we can't exactly go the "Parcells is a fat ass because of eating Tuna" route

 

Parcells was dubbed "Tuna" after telling his Giants players, "Who do you think I am, Charlie the Tuna?"

 

so, since they call him the tuna, I guess they think he's Charlie Tuna?

Why did he say that for?

 

Charlie Tuna was a cartoon character on commercials years ago...

I don't remember it but maybe he looked like it?

 

I remember Charlie Tuna, and he looks like Charlie Weiss - Not Parcells...
